The speed variator is a mechanism of planetary gearsets that, through friction, transmits power which produces a decrease of the regular output speed. The speed variation is obtained by displace the planetary disks radially. This increase will come given by the size of variator, oscillating among a 20% in the smaller sizes and a 50% for de bigger ones. At the same time, this temperature will be able to a 25% superior during its first 300 hours of work.
